Samantha Pearson, known as Meave, was busking for tourists outside the Canada’s Got Talent venue in Niagara Falls. She was planning to go home and eat pizza, until Howie Mandel heard her singing and invited her inside. She could not believe what was happening.
With no backing track and no time to prepare, Meave sang The House of the Rising Sun a cappella. Her voice was rich and soulful, and the theater went quiet to listen to every word. 🎶
When she finished, the room cheered for the street singer who had walked in by chance. Judge Lilly Singh even gave Howie credit for discovering her, and everyone in the building was smiling.
Before she went on, she was told that sometimes surprises turn into dreams. For Meave, a normal day of busking turned into the audition of her life. ❤️
