Jason Brock worked in tech support and admitted he sometimes sang to customers over the phone. At his X Factor audition he told the judges he wanted to perform for the rest of his life.
He described his dream show in detail, with smoky light, dancers and a glitter explosion at the end. Then he sang Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind” with his own flavor, and the crowd started cheering. 🎶
Simon Cowell admitted he thought the concert idea was a ridiculous fantasy and was preparing for the worst, until suddenly it felt like they were at Jason’s concert. Britney Spears called the performance magnificent.
L.A. Reid said yes, and Simon happily gave the fourth one. The man from tech support walked off stage with four yeses and a huge smile. ❤️
