Storm Large wasn’t exactly a newcomer when she arrived on America’s Got Talent. She had already spent decades performing and had even competed on Rock Star: Supernova. But stepping onto the AGT stage at 51 still represented a major new challenge.
For her audition, Storm chose “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” but her interpretation was anything but predictable.
She took the familiar song and infused it with a powerful, sultry rock style. Her voice had an intensity that immediately separated the performance from the classic versions people already knew.
As the song progressed, Storm seemed completely in control of the stage. Her experience was obvious—not because she played it safe, but because she was confident enough to make the song her own.
The audience responded with a standing ovation, while all four judges gave her a yes.
