I love animals in general, and I have two dogs at home. They spend a lot of time in the garden, and one of them is really active and boisterous. Sometimes my neighbors complain that his barking keeps them up at night.
I started receiving anonymous mails from folks who were annoyed by my dog’s barking. Although he still goes outside sometimes, I decided to keep him inside for a while because of the rise in the frequency of these letters.
Until I noticed it one day, I couldn’t understand why my dog was acting strangely. I was shocked by what I discovered when I took him to the clinic. I never imagined that my puppy would experience such brutality.
I was so worried about my dog that I took him to the vet.
The veterinarian discovered about thirty screws in my dog’s stomach.
Fortunately, we found out in time.
According to the veterinarian, if the screws had reached the intestines, the situation would have been much worse.
We were able to prevent the worst and save our dog.
After I contacted the police, they began an investigation, but they haven’t been able to identify the criminal.
Since then, I’ve become more watchful and ensured my pets’ safety.
Although I’m happy that my puppy is safe today, this incident opened my eyes to the cruelty that some people may inflict on animals.
