I want to briefly introduce my husband to you. He is a workaholic who is always tired. He considers the most important part of life to be his job, which gives him certain rights. I am aware of how busy he is at work, but motherhood is as challenging.
Last month, we had arranged to spend the holidays with his family, which allowed us to relax and spend time together. My husband suggested buying the tickets. I didn’t know what was in store for me!
I decided to ask my husband where we were sitting at the airport while balancing our toddler and our bags. He was too distracted by his phone to give me a clear response.
I had stayed in economy with the kids, but he had managed to secure first-class tickets for himself and his mother, he disclosed when he finally grinned clumsily. When I heard that, I was horrified! As they headed for their seats, I was already working on a little revenge scheme.
When we finally settled in, I noticed that my husband and his mother were already sipping champagne while I fumbled my carry-on bag into the overhead bin.
Then I remembered that I had his wallet! I had hidden it in my backpack throughout the security check and was ready to enjoy the concert.
Two hours later, I was having some snacks in economy when I noticed my husband searching his pockets urgently after realizing his wallet was missing. I couldn’t help but smile when he came to me in a desperate attempt to get money.
I pretended to search my bag for cash and gave him just $20. I also reminded him to ask his mother for help. I had a great time doing this.
Therefore, if your partner wishes to leave you behind, remember that a little justice will make your trip much more enjoyable!
