I saw a strange object on the street – at first I thought it was just trash, but when I got closer, I was horrified

Yesterday, I spotted something surprising on the street. At first, I thought it might have been a hose that had been left on the sidewalk or just some pieces of fabric.I was about to pass it when something made me stop and take a closer look. When I came closer, what I saw nearly made my heart stop.Because it turned out to be a real.

As I got closer, I knew it was a grass snake. crushed. A snake in the middle of a city street. I seemed to be the only one who noticed the cars and people hurrying by. I was chilly.

Moreover, this was not an isolated incident.

In recent weeks, the number of snakes has increased noticeably. People have been sharing experiences about seeing one near their front door or discovering one in their yard during neighborhood conversations.

Snakes have even been known to enter apartments through ventilation shafts or balcony breaches. They appeared everywhere, as if there were no longer any boundaries between “their” world and ours.

Experts say this is due to climate change and the loss of their natural habitats. Despite the fact that grass snakes are not toxic, seeing one near your home might nevertheless be unsettling.

How to protect yourself:

Don’t leave boards, rubbish, leaf piles, or other hiding spots in your yard or balcony where snakes can be attracted.

Air leaks and cracks should be sealed, especially on lower floors.

Before leaving your shoes and baggage in chilly or unheated areas, make sure they are in good condition.

Don’t freak out, don’t touch the snake, and call animal rescue services (check the number in your region) if you see one.

As nature encroaches on the city, we must learn to live with it. However, it won’t hurt to be on guard and attentive.
