An Australian reality TV actress went viral after claiming to have slept with over 700 guys. She now asserts, though, that she is free of her “sex addiction.”
Belinda “Love” Rygier, who was on The Bachelor Australia in 2017, reportedly revealed that during one stage of her life, she would go out for sex up to six nights a week.
Even while the amounts involved may appear shocking to some, the 38-year-old eventually admitted that she had a problem that needed to be handled, and she subsequently took part in a treatment program.
Most individuals find boasting about the amount of partners they have had humiliating, and not everyone is naturally at ease discussing their sexual lives.
Though she was unaware of the precise number, Belina Rygier disclosed that she had slept with at least 700 men. She said that sharing her full “body count” was a milestone in her addiction rehabilitation.
The relationship therapist and former TV actress told the You’re a Grub Mate! radio show in 2022 that she had been celibate for 15 months and was eight years into her recovery.
“I didn’t realize I had a problem until I resolved it. I continued attracting toxic men to me, and my relationships were the issue,” she added.
After I recovered, I thought that some unresolved pain from my past was the cause of my sex addiction.
“You wouldn’t know from the outside that I was a functioning addict and that it controlled my life, but I had a great career.”
The former Bachelor Australia star Belinda acknowledged that she would often go out up to six times a week in pursuit of a sexual partner and stated that she is “not ashamed” of having an unusually high number of lovers.
She asserted that it was more about feeling attractive, welcomed, and loved than it was about having sex and that guys were very good at giving her what she wanted to hear.
Belinda claims she is now working toward celibacy because she thinks that people use sex these days for the “wrong reasons.”
“Society has declined because we’re using sex for the wrong reason—a moment or quick validation,” she said.
“I will engage in sexual activity once more, but with a close friend or relative.”
