Juliet Mills, 82, is happily married to ‘Grease’ idol 18 years her junior. Their love story will inspire you…

A former child star recently told her how he feels about her, and she is completely smitten with her much younger boyfriend. The pair has consistently defended their love in the face of criticism.

For over 40 years, Jane Mills, 82, has been married to a man who is 20 years her junior. Many people questioned if their relationship would endure because of their significant age difference.

They both work in the movie industry, and Mills’s first part in a motion picture occurred when she secured a contract with Warner Brothers. She has modest roles in comedic films like “Carry on Jack” (1964) and “Nurse on Wheels” (1963).

However, it wasn’t until 1966 that she actually rose to fame, appearing on screen alongside Maureen O’Hara and James Stewart in the western “The Rare Breed.”

Mills landed her first major role in the television series “Nanny and the Professor” in 1970. Despite the show’s rapid rise in popularity, ABC cancelled it after just two seasons.

The actress discussed her favorite aspects of the comedy show in an interview conducted many years later. Mills remarked, “I remember it with a lot of love, and I’m pretty proud of it.”

According to Mills, a Tony Award nominee, people frequently recognize her voice and shout, “Hey, Nanny!” in this manner. According to her, the family entertainment made people happy and reminded them of pleasant moments that they can still clearly recall.

Through her acting career, the child actor met Maxwell Caulfield, who is now her husband. Caulfield’s fame was growing at the moment. Caulfield made his film debut in “Grease 2.” He then performed with Mills, who would later become his wife, during a U.S. tour of the well-known play “The Elephant Man.”

He portrayed John Merrick in the play, a man whose terrible facial alterations earned him the cruel moniker in the play’s title. Mills portrayed the actor who befriends John, Mrs. Kendal.

She discussed her initial encounter with Caulfield in an interview, stating that she was immediately drawn to and interested in him. She added that they believed they had known one another in a previous life.

Caulfield concurred in the same interview, stating that they felt a strong psychic connection and that their love was “full-blown”: “It was instantaneous for us both.” Their first date was an occasion known as Harold Pinter’s “Betrayal.” They were invited by Mills’ friend Natalie Wood.

Sitting between Mills and the well-known Wood, who had starred in “West Side Story” and “Rebel Without a Cause,” seemed odd to Caulfield.

Caulfield was 21 years old the year she married Mills. A lot of folks have doubts about the longevity of their marriage. The pair avoided difficulty despite the news reports claiming they were of different ages.

According to Mills, they never concerned about the age gap because they lived in California, where the story received little notice. Not even those close to them, such as Mills’ father, considered it an issue.

When she told him about her former partner, he responded, “It doesn’t matter.” Any person you meet and wish to spend the rest of your life with is a partner, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, or age.

“And that’s what I found,” Mills added. “Our critics are now unable to speak.” Despite having two previous marriages, the actress never felt older than Caulfield. She described him as her best friend, protective, and passionate.

Caulfield even organized their wedding, which included a small celebration at Mills’ Beverly Hills house and a sunrise service on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean at Point Dume in Malibu.

He created a lovely scene on the land by installing archways and fairy lights. He took two rabbits out of his tuxedo pockets with his proposal, which was also extremely romantic. Caulfield wrote, “She makes me feel romantic.”

The celebrity claimed in a recent interview that his 44-year-old wife keeps him young. In April 2017, they attended the well-known #ENOCarousel event. “Kath Jenkins and Alfie Boe had a lot of conviction, and their voices weren’t too bad either!” Caulfield posted his opinions on the internet. “A lovely theater.”

Additionally, he posted a joyful photo of the two of them on X, and admirers praised their amiable appearance. “What a lovely image!” exclaimed one individual. The same thing was said by another: “You two lovebirds look great!”

Caulfield shared another photo of the contented pair in December 2013 along with the caption, “Right side up!” “What a lovely couple,” someone wrote to them.

By overcoming the obstacles, Mills and Caulfield demonstrated that love can blossom in the presence of public scrutiny and amongst people of various ages. Their enduring connection exemplifies what true love and friendship are like.
