Stranger Keeps Secretly Visiting Soldier’s Grave, When Mom Finds Out ‘Why’ She Tracks Him Down

Losing a child is one of life’s greatest tragedies. Parents of service members stationed overseas naturally worry about their children’s well-being on a daily basis.

Joseph Villasenor served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant and was patriotic.

This courageous guy served his country for 16 years before his untimely death at the age of 36. His parents, Raymond and Rachel Villasenor, were upset.

To them, their son’s disappearance seemed unfathomable. It was really difficult to handle the pain. They talked about the mysterious incident that happened soon after their son’s untimely demise.

While they were paying their respects at Garden Park Cemetery in Arlington, Texas, they saw something odd: a line of lush grass stretched from their son’s tomb to the surrounding area.

They can’t figure out what the real motivation is.

They didn’t know that their daughter had met an old man named Jake Reissig by chance a few months earlier.

While delivering flowers to his late wife’s grave in the cemetery, Jake noticed Joseph’s sister sobbing.

As he got closer, he had to ask her what was wrong.

The entire family was devastated when she told them of her brother’s recent passing. Even though he couldn’t make everything better, Jake could still take some action to express his care.

He was going to bring flowers to Joseph’s grave. He also irrigated the lawn daily.

Upon visiting their son’s grave, Rachel and her husband Raymond saw that it was decorated with flowers. The sight immensely encouraged them. They couldn’t agree on who should be thanked for the considerate act, though.

They eventually learned that Jake was responsible for maintaining the cemetery memorial.

They were brought to tears by Jake’s deed of kindness. The amount of gratitude they felt for this elderly man was beyond words.

When things go tough, you need someone to show you they care. The world is a better place because of you and others like you, Jake. Many thanks.
