Some of you may be considering what resolutions you could make for the upcoming year as 2025 draws near. Don’t worry if these forecasts prove to be correct.
As 2024 comes to an end, the echoes of the past do indeed become more apparent, and two of history’s most mysterious figures—Baba Vanga and Nostradamus—make terrifying prophecies that both amaze and excite people.
The foresight ascribed to these fabled seers has been disputed for decades, regardless of one’s religious views.
Before she passed away in 1996, Baba Vanga, a blind Bulgarian mystic whose full name was Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, is reported to have made 85% of her predictions correctly.
The Economic Times claims that they have included the 9/11 attacks, the passing of Princess Diana, and the presidency of Barack Obama.

With predictions spanning the next three millennia, her prophetic ability has made a lasting effect and cemented her place as a prominent figure in the field of prophetic enigma (for a heartwarming read, scroll to the bottom of the page).
Furthermore, Nostradamus, a French astronomer from the 16th century, recorded his visions in the mysterious quatrains of his book Les Prophéties, published in 1555.
His image as a visionary whose work is constantly examined for hints about the future is cemented by the claims that his forecasts foresaw significant events including the ascent of Adolf Hitler, the assassination of President Kennedy, and the terrorist attacks of September 11.
Unsettling 2025 Forecasts
According to both prophets, 2025 will be a significant year with far-reaching effects on the world.
Nostradamus predicts the rise of a malevolent cult to power and the establishment of an underwater empire.
However, Baba Vanga foretells the development of telepathy, which adds a futuristic twist to our conception of human potential.
But the prognosis are considerably more gloomy than those for conflict.
Nostradamus indicates that it will be the result of “cruel wars,” and he adds inexplicably that “the ancient plague will be worse than enemies.” Both foretell a catastrophic war in Europe.

In addition, Baba Vanga makes the menacing assertion that this conflict will “devastate” towns, which casts a negative light on the near future and makes me wonder if I should really spend the money on my Neil Diamond calendar each year.
If that isn’t enough to keep you awake at night, Nostradamus also says that an asteroid would hit Earth, stating, “The world begs you to be a harbinger of fate, because a fireball will rise from the cosmos.” A cosmic dance between fate and science: a second chance, Earth’s fate.
A glimmer of optimism and curiosity about aliens
There are signs of hope despite the bleak predictions.
According to Sky History, Nostradamus offers a potential solution to the present war between Russia and Ukraine by predicting that both sides will become “exhausted” and that interventions from countries like France or Turkey could bring about peace.
Both seers make more uncommon references to the potential for alien contacts; Baba Vanga even suggests that aliens might be present at a major athletic event.
As I previously stated, Baba Vanga died with the assumption that humans would live for 3,056 years, so let’s just say that things don’t seem to be going well with the aliens.
Who was Baba Vanga?
Baba Vanga is known as the “Nostradamus of the Balkans,” according to The Mirror, and her 85% accuracy rate still chills people today as her prophecies come true when she isn’t around.
She is said to have lost her sight in a storm when she was twelve, which is proof of her magical powers.
However, what prophecies has the mystic made that seem to have materialized in the past?
The 9/11 terrorist attacks
In 1989, she issued the ominous prediction: “Horror, Horror! The American brethren will be attacked by the steel birds and will fall to the ground. The ominous reference to “steel birds” could be interpreted as referring to the aircraft used by Al-Qaeda to carry out the horrifying 9/11 attacks in 2001.
The sinking of the Kursk
The terrible idea that Kursk, Russia, would be “covered with water, and the whole world will weep over it” was Baba’s in 1980.Her prediction was realized in August 2000 when a nuclear submarine sank in Kursk, killing 188 crew members.
It is natural to want to worry about the next three thousand years or more now that those terrible prophecies have come to pass. The New York Post reports that she believes the following changes will occur during the next three millennia:
2025: A battle will decimate the European population.
2028: Humans will look at Venus as a possible source of energy.
2033: Sea levels will rise dramatically worldwide as a result of the melting polar ice caps.
2076: Communists will invade countries all over the world.
2130: Humans and aliens will be able to communicate.
2170: A drought will wreak havoc throughout much of the earth.
3005: Earth and a Martian civilization will conflict.
3797: Humans will have to depart Earth since it is no longer habitable.
5079: The world is ending.
Gentlemen, I will be honest. I’m scared. However, I don’t intend to live in 5079.
