It’s typical for one or both parties to alter after a divorce. Maybe some new clothes? A new car altogether? Maybe a new job, a new hairstyle, or a new group of friends to hang out with?
I contend that it’s acceptable to make adjustments to your everyday life after experiencing something as profound and, usually, traumatic as a formal separation from someone you believed you would be in love with forever.
Even celebrities seem to be able to get makeovers after a divorce. In fact, Kevin Costner is in the middle of one right now, if Radar Online is to be believed.
According to our in-depth examination of Costner’s love life and how it developed in 2023, the Dances With Wolves star and Christine Baumgartner split up last year after 19 years of marriage.
All accounts indicate that Christine initiated the divorce proceedings, while Costner was surprised by his ex-wife’s choice. Following an unavoidable legal battle, Baumgartner was granted a mandate for Costner to make monthly payments of $63,209 in child support.
Despite the fact that it may appear substantial, it is significantly less than the $161,592 that Christine was allegedly seeking.
A few months later, there were multiple speculations linking the 69-year-old Costner to various women. Given that he became one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors on the day his divorce was finalized, I guess this was to be expected.
There has been a lot of speculation in recent months that he is currently dating singer Jewel; it is reported that the two went on a plane journey together for a holiday. Jewel herself made reference to Kevin in an April interview, sneakily calling the actor “a great person.”

Radar Online asserts that the main character in Yellowstone has changed since divorcing from Christine, but it is unlikely that the public will know if Costner has found a new partner until an official announcement is made.
A source allegedly informed news site The Globe, “He is now getting weaves and constantly fusses over his hair.” “To look younger, he is experimenting with other beauty procedures like Botox and spray tans.”
“He used to be a wash-and-go guy, but now he gets really obsessed with his hair and spends hours getting ready,” the insider claimed. His friends tease him for looking like a scarecrow with the bleached fuzz on top of his head, but he doesn’t mind because he thinks it looks great.
In fact, Costner flaunted bleached blond hair and a notably longer hairline when he was pictured at the Cannes Film Festival this month to launch the first film in his new four-part Western serial Horizon: An American serial.
