Today is Joy Behar’s 82nd birthday! Over the past few decades, she hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down, and it appears the comic has no intention of doing so either.
She has been transparent about a lot of the ups and downs in her life’s journey. She had previously been transparent about her life and marriage, and now she is going into further depth about her encounters.
Joy Behar was born on October 7, 1942, and today is her eighty-second birthday! She co-hosted the well-liked daytime chat show “The View” in 1997 after serving as one of its original panelists. However, in recent years, she has made fewer appearances on the show.
Behar left the program in 2013 but came back in 2015. She responded, “I was glad to be fired,” when questioned about getting fired from the show. I honestly can’t recall why, but I was just over the show at that time.
The TV host said she wasn’t sure why she was fired and mentioned that the network hadn’t given her a reason either. She remarked, “That was really stupid of them.” They did, however, really learn the lesson. In October 2022, she declared that she had no intention of leaving the program.

In the past, Behar has responded, “I’m happy to be a part of it,” when questioned about her shock at how many people are watching her show. So no, I’m not going anywhere. I’m having fun over here.
Last year, she had a live birthday celebration.
Behar remarked, “I can’t get excited,” in response to her co-hosts pointing out that she didn’t appear particularly excited about her birthday. It’s just that I am living. You know, there comes a moment when you tell yourself, “My God, I’m still here,” as soon as you wake up.

In her personal life, Behar has had it all. She is a grandmother, a mother, and the offspring of two prior unions.
Behar’s second husband, Steve Janowitz, is a retired teacher. The pair wed in 2011 after dating for more than 29 years. She was dressed in a short-sleeved dress, and he was dressed in a black suit with a white shirt and bow tie. They matched their outfits for the occasion.
The actress reflected on her second marriage after getting hitched and asked, “Do I look like a blushing bride to you? Two decades have passed.

She said that there had never been a “honeymoon” period because the couple had been together for such a long time. They were just getting married to the person they loved after dating for a long time.
She said that their long-lasting relationship is a result of their lack of sensitivity, which means that none of them takes offense at anything the other says.
She said her spouse had a great sense of humor and revealed that she had hidden her comedy career from him for the first year of their relationship, fearing it would make him jealous.

The pair had been dating for around thirty years when they made the decision to tie the knot. When asked why they had waited for so long, Behar said, “We waited so long because I had been married before, and I didn’t really see the point.”
The comedian said, “We did it for the s*x,” but as she grew older, she realized she needed someone to support her “emotionally and legally” in case something went wrong.
The famous husband of Janowitz is seven years younger than him, yet the couple has been happily married for over 13 years.
Behar is a mother in addition to a wife. November 1970 saw the birth of Eve Behar by her and her first husband, Joseph Behar. The pair lived together until 1981 after getting married in 1965.
Her daughter, who is now married to Alphonso Scotti, has a son named Luca. Behar proudly holds up her eight-month-old grandchild, describing him as “brilliant” and already vocally communicative.
Eve, her daughter, is an artist, and she just shared details on an art opening along with a family group photo from the event. Luca, who is currently a teenager, has a picture of himself on his mother’s Facebook with his grandmother.
