Thor’s owner and servant, Rani Cucicov, fell in love with the handsome and cuddly dog when she first spotted him in 2013 in a Dutch cattery.
“We actually went to look at another kitten, but the breeder said she had another one that was available and then she came with Thor in her hands,” Cucicov said in an interview with HuffPost.
“We were immediately enamored with his stunning ‘orange-brown’ hues.”
Of course, a big part of Thor’s internet fame came from his gorgeous fur. He currently has 200,000 loyal followers on Instagram.
Thor expects to be treated as the dominant monarch in the household, just like a tiger does.
Still, we shouldn’t ignore the fact that Rani finds him endearing and cute most of the time.

“He likes to chase flies,” Rani remarked. “That’s useful because we don’t need a flycatcher in the house.”
There are even those who question the veracity of Thor’s fur. I mean, is being this fantastic really possible? They make sense to me.
The woman said, “The funniest thing I read was people saying that Thor wasn’t real and that we just photoshopped a cat and added a tiger’s body.” Of course, this is not true. Thor is definitely authentic and hasn’t been tampered with in any way. Even while we definitely work to present him in the best possible light, there are some images that we upload to Instagram that have filters added, or in which we increase the shadow or add other effects because the light or clarity is off. But according to Rani, we never change his colors or Photoshop him to look like a tiger or anything else.
