The Willis family has faced numerous challenges in recent months, and their ordeals are far from concluded.
The world has been silent ever since the Die Hard actor was told that he has a disease that impairs speech. Bruce received a lot of support from his family, who have also kept his followers informed on his status on a daily basis.
Following his withdrawal from the public eye, Bruce received a more precise diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.
Bruce Willis’s daughter Rumer Willis wrote on social media, “Our family wanted to start by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support, and wonderful stories we have all received since sharing Bruce’s original diagnosis.”
In keeping with that, we thought it only fitting to provide you with an update on our cherished husband, father, and friend, now that we have a better knowledge of his circumstances.
“After announcing Bruce’s aphasia diagnosis in the spring of 2022, his health has worsened, leading to the more precise diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia, or FTD.”
Tallulah, the actress’s daughter with Demi Moore, is dealing with mental health challenges that grow as her father’s condition deteriorates. Bruce’s disease has affected his wife, ex-wife, and daughters.
Less than three months after her father’s aphasia diagnosis, Tallulah revealed publicly that she had anorexia following her breakup with fiancé Dillon Buss.
Bruce is reportedly cognizant of his daughter’s pain.
According to a source cited by Radar, “Bruce could see her wasting away and it only made his own problems worse.”
The insider continued, “Bruce was shattered when he saw Tallulah’s suffering.”
The family eventually came to the conclusion that it would be best if they spent no time together at all.
Tallulah was admitted to an inpatient facility after her split, and she was later diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.
Tallulah wrote an essay for Vogue Magazine in which she stated that she had body dysmorphia after starting to take medication for ADHD.
When Tallulah took her prescription, she said, “I felt smart for the first time, but I also started to enjoy the appetite-suppressant side effect of the meds.” I spotted a way to replace the uncomfortable teenager with a fluttering little pixie. And like a lot of people who suffer from eating disorders, I lost my sense of self.
There is an unhealthy allure while fast losing weight at first. People exclaim, “Oh my God!” The question swiftly shifts to, “Are you okay?” I choose to ignore my friends’ and family’s fear.
“By the spring of 2022, I weighed about 84 lbs,” the 29-year-old continued. I was usually chilly. I was phoning around for mobile IV teams to come to my home because I was scared I wouldn’t have anywhere to sit down and catch my breath when I was walking through my Los Angeles area.
It is our sincere wish that Tallulah will be able to get past her health problems.
