A little boy from Oklahoma was abused by his parents and they gave him up for adoption, but on the first day, he went to the new parents and handed them a letter. What he writes is Gut-Wrenching

A non-profit group called Dreamcatchers for Abused Children is committed to helping abused children find healing. “Educate the public on all aspects of child abuse such as symptoms, intervention, prevention, statistics, reporting, and helping victims locate the proper resources necessary to achieve a full recovery,” states their website as their primary objective.

The organization recently released a terrible list penned by an Oklahoman boy who was severely abused by both of his severely intoxicated parents and ended up in the care system. The boy never knew love or the pleasures that come with growing up. He had only ever experienced neglect and malnourishment.

Years passed until a neighbor chose to notify social services after realizing that the boy’s house was the scene of horrific events.

The boy was sent to Dreamcatchers for Abused Children after the police intervened, and they ensured that the young child found a new, loving family.

The youngster created a wish list, listing everything he want in his new permanent home, after the organization finally found the ideal family and told him the wonderful news.

It goes without saying that the list warmed the hearts of many. Many people took the opportunity to remark that since the majority of the items on the list are merely necessities, children shouldn’t dream of them and should instead acquire them automatically.

Here is the list:

“Food and water are the things I want in my household.
Stay away from me.
a home with lights and running water.
Love is what I want.
Dad and Mom don’t argue.
I’m not interested in drugs.
Please spare my animals.
assistance in schooling.
lovely, fresh clothing.
Not a lice. Not a bug in the house.
tidy up the home.
Make sure the bed is covered.
Please don’t sell my toys.
handled fairly.
Avoid becoming wasted.
home television.
Give me back my school supplies.
Pretty shoes.
Comb soap that I made. Nice home with a heater coat and a safe.
Toothbrush

We should never take the things we have for granted, as this list serves as a reminder.
