Excitement and nervousness mixed for Jake and Lily, his future bride, as the wedding day drew near. Lily was devastated and perplexed as to why Jake would abruptly put off their wedding. The bond between Lily, Jake, and Megan broke down after several months. Lily and Jake had to rebuild their lives without Megan’s destructive influence, causing the once-inseparable trio to become estranged. After deciding to postpone the wedding indefinitely, they took some time to recover from the emotional upheaval brought on by the sudden postponement. Lily and Jake were more devoted and stronger than ever a year later. They chose a more private ceremony free from the shackles of superstitions and cunning friends, determined to give love another opportunity.
