Fans of Australian musician Keith Urban hold him in high regard. His current wife Nicole Kidman and him had an enchanted beginning to their romance.
In a 2007 interview with Vanity Fair, Kidman revealed that when she first met Urban in 2005 at an event dubbed “G-Day LA,” which honors Australian artists, she was secretly engaged to someone else. Still, after their lucky encounter, the pair became engaged in three months.
According to Metro, the actress stated, “There was an enormous attraction initially and we got engaged after three months and then we got married really quickly, but we didn’t really know each other.”Actually, it wasn’t until after our marriage that we really got to know one another.
“I think that meeting at a particular age makes a difference. I have faith in my instincts as well. The instant I laid eyes on him, I felt as though I had discovered my home. He felt the same way. All we had was that, yet it was the basis for everything we did.
The two guys are the fathers of two beautiful girls.
Among the people who had a big impact on Urban’s development was his father Robert, who passed away following a battle with prostate cancer.
In 2018, Urban went to the Toowoomba It’s A Bloke Thing luncheon to raise awareness and honor his father. But when the photos appeared and the paparazzi spotted him at the Sidney airport, fans worried that the musician might be suffering from the disease.
However, his presence was for the Prostate Cancer Awareness/Fundraiser event.
Unfortunately, numerous family members, including his uncles, have had prostate cancer, which is why Urban is particularly committed to spreading awareness of the disease.
Urban not only committed to play for free, but he also helped the lunchtime fundraising surpass a new record of $2,024,000.
