How amazing the Super Bowl is! Fans are watching this incredible event from all around the nation and abroad, and they are not just there for the game but also for the intriguing story that is unfolding off the field.
The much-anticipated Deadpool 3 trailer and the amusing performances by some of the biggest talents in the nation thrilled fans. The advertisements, which are usually eagerly awaited, also garner a lot of attention.
Many people claimed that one of the night’s most unexpected advertisements starred Mark Wahlberg alongside actor Jonathan Roumie from TBN’s The Chosen.
The Catholic app Hallow was marketed by the two. Wahlberg was heard stating, “God, we take this moment just to give You thanks,” throughout the 30-second commercial. “For the first time ever, join over 100 million people in prayer during Super Bowl LVIII,” read the message that then flashed on the screen.

“We couldn’t have been more excited to work with Mark and Jonathan to use the Big Game this year as an opportunity to invite millions of people to pray when we learned about its timing.”
The Hallow app, which allows for on-the-go prayer, has been downloaded 10 million times across 150 countries since its inception in 2018.
Wahlberg has already discussed his religion and declared himself to be a devout Christian on a number of occasions.
“I do not disavow my faith, but I don’t want to shove it down anyone’s throat. It’s a sin even greater,” he declared the previous year.
“You know, I can’t deny my faith, even though it’s not mainstream in my industry. I think it’s vital to let folks know that. But since I have friends from a variety of backgrounds and beliefs, it’s also critical to appreciate and honor them.

Not that anyone has ever disapproved of him for his faith—in fact, a lot of people value his candor about it—but the majority thought the Super Bowl commercial he was in was offensive.
One commenter wrote, “Mark Wahlberg deserves our congratulations for ensuring that Ben Affleck didn’t make Boston look bad during the Super Bowl.”
“Somehow the Mark Wahlberg as is atop my leaderboard of weirdest Super Bowl commercials so far,” another commenter said.
“Did I just hear Mark Wahlberg say’stay prayed up’?” inquired a third person.
