Everyone should make it a habit to eat healthily. Because the adage “Healthy body, healthy mind” is still true, eating a balanced diet and exercising regularly will help your brain function more effectively. But there are basic standards of conduct that each and every one of us must adhere to. We should all eat healthily, but it doesn’t give us the right to make fun of someone who doesn’t or who we believe doesn’t. Particularly when it involves a child, that is wrong.
When I was a child, I recall that the food served to us at school wasn’t particularly wholesome. mainly made of rice and fried potatoes, not very appetizing and oily, but hey, times have changed since 17 years ago. Recently, a campaign to promote healthy eating was launched in some schools in Ontario, Canada. And these schools adopted this idea and began putting it into practice, but they went a little too far for the kids. As an illustration, one of the staff members opted to discard a child’s home-brought food after inspecting it and finding it to be unsafe.
When the boy came home and informed his mother Eliana Daoust all that had transpired, she became quite irate. She made the decision to file a complaint at the school for acting in an unprofessional and child-insensitive manner. On the other side, the school established a list of foods that children should either bring from home or eat at school. However, the school also claimed that no member of the staff had ever been urged or given instructions to remove harmful food from the children. Share your thoughts with us.
