A farmer discovered a big egg underneath a chicken; when he cracked it open, he was astounded by what he saw.
For breakfast, who doesn’t like eggs? Whatever method you prefer—scrambled, poached, or even sunny side up—eggs are the ideal way to start the day in a nutritious way. They supply us with the necessary energy and go great with cheese, tomatoes, and bacon.
Even though it’s uncommon, it’s possible for certain eggs to have two yolks. Do you have any memory of seeing an egg like that? Even if you have, one Texas farmer has something much cooler to boast about than a two-yolk egg. It’s a double egg, too. If you’re not sure what we’re talking about, check out this incredible tale.

Since double-shelled eggs are so uncommon, many people are sure they don’t exist even though there are videos of individuals cracking them open.
It happens when “an egg that is nearly ready to be laid reverses direction and gets a new layer of albumen covered by a second shell,” according to Poultry Help.
A “counter-peristalsis contraction” is the process that causes the egg to reverse, according to Countryside Network.
But in this YouTube clip, a man who identifies as “just an old Texas farmer appreciating nature” finds a massive egg laid by an average-sized chicken. More than 3 million people have seen the movie since it was uploaded in July 2015.
The farmer begins to tap the egg, causing a little break in the shell. After that, he takes off a tiny portion so that the yolk is clearly visible.
He chuckles and says, “Oh, I see another surprise!”
The phrase “A double egger!”
