Simon Had One Big Problem With These 8 Year Old Dancers, Then He Made the Final Call

Krista and Charlie of the Cheeky Monkeys at Britain's Got Talent

Krista and Charlie were both 8 when they brought their dance act, the Cheeky Monkeys, to Britain’s Got Talent in 2008. The best friends had been dancing together for just over a year, and they admitted they do not always agree, because Charlie refuses any move he thinks is too girly.

In matching sparkly outfits, they danced to “Shout” with nonstop energy, jumping, spinning and throwing themselves into every step while the audience cheered them on. 🎶

Simon loved their energy and their costumes, but said the two of them were better than the choreography they had been given. Amanda said yes, while another judge felt they were not quite ready yet.

That left the final vote to Simon. He said he still had a problem with the routine, but decided to give them one more chance and said yes. The Cheeky Monkeys were through, and the happy tears came straight away. ❤️
