Candace Cameron Bure has received a lot of media attention lately. The actress recently made headlines for her comments about “traditional marriage,” which not everyone agreed with.
The actress is currently making headlines due to a picture she posted of herself and her spouse.
Candace Cameron Bure met Valeri Bure, her husband, at a hockey game in 1994. And two years later, on June 22, 1996, they were joined as husband and wife.
The couple is still very much in love and makes a concerted effort to keep their marriage strong even after more than 20 years of marriage.
Bure revealed the playful nature of their nuptials in an Instagram story. But because some audience members felt the humor was “inappropriate,” the actress was heavily criticized.
In addition, Bure resisted giving in to criticism. Instead, she uploaded the picture on her Instagram, going all out. She shared two pictures of herself and her husband together on social media, highlighting how “sweet and spicy” their relationship is. In the second image, Valerie’s arm is slung over his wife’s shoulder and his hand is resting on her chest.
Supporters told her that the picture was a little too “racy” for her, considering that she was a “Christian celebrity.”The actress did, however, have a response for the angry fans.
She said, “I’m sorry if it offended you.” She giggled and said, “I’m actually not sorry,” in a later video that she shared on her Instagram stories. “I’m glad we still like each other after all these years.”
She claimed that after twenty-four years, she was only illustrating what a “good and healthy marriage” looked like.
She went on to say in her next Instagram story video, “It makes me laugh because it’s my husband.” “Whenever he wants, he can touch me, and I hope he does.”
