You may recognize Miami, Florida-based singer Pretty Ricky from his work with Sean Paul on the hit song “Grind with Me” in the early 2000s. In contrast, the musician recently received a lot of attention on social media for posting a picture.
He uploaded a picture of an obese passenger who had just boarded a plane. As he took his seat for the flight from Helsinki to Copenhagen, it became clear how challenging the man’s circumstances were.
According to the Daily Mail, his millions of followers started debating the picture as soon as he shared it on social media. The hip-hop musicians showed their support for the man by writing on Facebook, “Airlines will have to have something in place for plus sized passengers.” The difficulties faced by passengers who are larger than one seat are depicted in this recent flight image. It’s hard on the folks sitting next to them, too. The scenario is difficult since the airline will need to strike a happy balance.
Some members of the group, however, disagree. People from both sides of the argument made sure their opinions were heard online.
“They should pay for two seats if they take up two seats,” someone said. Another individual said, “You should just weigh them like luggage before check-in.” If they are too big, they won’t fly until you buy a second ticket. Another said, “Man, even the skinny people be too near, give us all more room!” in reference to the general lack of seating on airplanes. Hehe.
