[SAD NEWS] Strictly’s Janette Manrara BREAKS DOWN in TEARS and shares ‘hard’ update about baby Lyra.

In July 2023, Aljaz Skorjanec and his wife Janette Manrara welcomed their first child, Lyra, into the world before he went back to Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly star Janette Manrara has broken down in tears after saying goodbye to her baby daughter Lyra, who is heading out on a two-week trip with her father, Aljaz Skorjanec. While acknowledging on Instagram that this would “be the longest she will be away from Lyra,” the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant added that “sharing is good, and it makes us all feel better.”

Janette stated she would count down till she saw Lyra again and acknowledged that she would continue to be strong while spending time with her grandmother and cousins. Aljaz quit “Strictly” in 2022, a year after his wife Janette gave birth to their first child, Lyra, in July 2023. He returned for the 22nd season of the show in 2024.

In relation to his two-year break from “Strictly,” he continued on the show, “I got to look after my beautiful wife, my beautiful baby for two years.” But I didn’t see a second of “Strictly.”

Janette co-hosts the Strictly, It Takes Two spin-off on BBC Two with Fleur East. She hosted the Strictly Live! Tour this year as well, however there were some problems with the event.

Wynne Evans, an opera singer, withdrew from the “Strictly Come Dancing” live tour after it was discovered that he had made a sexually inappropriate comment during a photo call.

It was then discovered that Wynne had used the sexually suggestive word “spit roast” in a private joke about host Janette.

He then apologized, saying, “My language was inappropriate and unacceptable, for which I sincerely apologise.”

On one night of the tour, Wynne was unable to dance due to an ankle injury, but the BBC officials were not aware of his comment and informed Wynne that it would not be tolerated.

At the time, a BBC Studios official said, “We were not previously aware of the remark and did not receive any complaints.”

“Wynne has been informed that such behavior is not permitted during the tour.”
