Kozlowski had a love for acting from a young age. She decided to pursue a career in the field and was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School’s drama department. She moved to New York in 1981 after graduation.
To begin her acting career, Kozlowski starred in several off-Broadway productions, including How It All Began. Later on, she would get smaller roles on Broadway and television, such as costarring in the television film Death of a Salesman alongside Dustin Hoffman.
But moving to New York wasn’t easy, as many actors will probably attest. She worked as a waitress after Death of a Salesman ended, and Kozlowski decided to relocate to California.
Meanwhile, she became good friends with Dustin Hoffman, who also acted as a kind of mentor to her.
“It was cold in New York,” she told People. “And I couldn’t see any other work in sight, so I was kind of miserable.”
Hoffman and his wife wanted to help Linda. Six weeks after relocating to the west coast, she went to audition for Crocodile Dundee, who offered her a place to live in their Malibu beach house.
Dustin Hoffman really recommended her for the part because he was so impressed with her performance in Death of a Salesman.

Paul Hogan and Kozlowski costarred in the 1986 original Crocodile Dundee film. It became one of the biggest films of the year with an astounding $320 million. The fans loved it, and considering that it only cost about $10 million to make, it was a big hit.
But when Linda first showed up at the Crocodile Dundee set in Australia, it was a bit of a shock.
“It was 4 a.m., very cold, and buffalo and kangaroos were out and about.” “I was stunned,” she said.

“It’s good to feel my own light now because I spent so many years living in Paul’s shadow,” she said to New Idea. She added that the two were at odds since they had no shared interests.
Honestly, we just drifted off. One of our problems, as many people encounter over time, was that we had nothing in common.
Paul Hogan pointed out that they are still able to work things out in spite of their disputes.
Despite being total opposites, we were attracted to each other for a while. “Everything is the opposite,” said Hogan.
“It worked no matter what—what we ate, what music and entertainment we liked, the colors, the clothes, the settings, and everything else.”
The couple still shares custody of their child, Change. In addition, despite the divorce, they remain close friends.

“The divorce proceeded quite easily. We talk on the phone all the time, and I come over for coffee,” she added. “We are very friendly. Everyone is happy.
Linda moved to Morocco after removing herself from the spotlight and fell in love again.
She traveled to Morocco with a native tour guide, Moulay Hafid Baba. They clicked immediately, Kozlowski told Luxe Beat.
Together, they founded Dream My Destiny, a high-end travel agency that designs customized itineraries according to the tastes of its customers and has its main office in Marrakech.
Linda Kozlowski said, “When we realized we had known each other for a thousand years, it was a magical moment in both of our lives.” As business partners, we plan every visitor’s trip together.
