Following a horrifying motorbike accident that claimed the life of actor Address Williams, many celebrities condoled with his family on social media.
According to a statement made public by his agent Barry McPherson on Monday, June 13, the 71-year-old calendar man suddenly away as a result of the party.
John Travolta was one of the first people to pay their respects to the late actor, recalling their Broadway escapades in the musicals Grease and More Than Here.
He says, “It all began in NYC with Treat Williams and me doing Broadway shows, More than Below and Grease.”
“Treat, I sincerely apologize. My thoughts are with you and your family. We are going to miss you. John, greetings.
“R.I.P. Dearest Handle Williams,” a brief tweet commemorating Williams and Catherine Zeta-Jones from the 1996 film The Phantom, was sent out. A still from the film was released by Zeta-Jones.
“I’m in shock,” tweeted Kim Cattrall, an actress and mother of two who costarred with the deceased actor in the 1999 television film 36 Hours to Die.

Sharon Stone tweeted, “Sad news, relax in peace, brother,” along with a screen grab of a story indicating his passing.

In The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Mark Hamill played an uncredited storm base warrior alongside him. Such a lovely person, such a talented performer, and such a treasured close friend. With a photo of the actor in his youth, Emily VanCamp, who played Williams’ co-star in the movie Everwood, said, “The many times we worked together was generally remarkable and I was usually enthusiastic for the next time.” I send my warmest regards to your family, Deal with. James Woods, his co-star in the monumental criminal offense drama from 1984, commented, “Treat and I spent months filming As soon as On a Time in America in Rome.”
Traveling alone can be somewhat isolating for a long shoot, but his fantastic and consistent sense of humor has been a huge help. He was someone I genuinely admired, so I’m heartbroken by his departure. Godspeed, #TreatWilliams.
In a long ode to the star, Billy Baldwin praised him for being a bright, talented, charming, witty, successful, handsome, and nice person. “A golden heart.”
