Over the weekend, a happy celebration at Clint Eastwood’s daughter Morgan Eastwood’s wedding in Carmel, California, quickly turned into an emotional storm. The social media meltdown that resulted from family tension during Clint’s lavish party was disastrous.
Kathryn Eastwood, another of Clint’s daughters, posted a touching video of herself dancing with her 94-year-old father. But the underlying tensions were evident in her caption, “Had to dance with my dad for 50 f**king seconds before we were interrupted.” With this post, Kathryn started openly expressing her emotions on the internet, marking the beginning of her online outburst over her family.
In an especially poignant post that featured Morgan, Kathryn wrote, “I had to break up with my sister Morgan after her wedding because she’s so concerned with her reputation that she called me ‘insane’ online for the world to hear.” This has hindered my ability to become a mother and raise children, therefore in order to save myself more suffering, I must take precautions against this monster’s behavior that is motivated by fear.

Things got out of hand when Dina, Kathryn’s stepmother and Clint’s ex-wife, threatened to file a lawsuit if Kathryn didn’t remove the inflammatory posts.
“I’ll give you until tomorrow morning, after which I’ll use the money I took from your father to sue you,” Dina threatened. Kathryn responded defiantly, calling Dina a “gold digger” and implying that her actions stemmed from her worries of inheriting something.
Kathryn escalated her comments against Morgan, calling her “the cruelest most shallow superficial woman I have ever known,” refusing to back down.
This well reported family argument has cast a shadow over what was meant to be a joyous occasion. Clint Eastwood and his usually private family are coming under increasing media scrutiny due to his aged and visibly weak appearance.
