During the wedding, the shepherd dog unexpectedly stood in the bride’s path: a second later, something unexpected happened

During the wedding ceremony, the shepherd dog unexpectedly got in the way of the bride. Everyone thought it was an accident at first, but then something unexpected occurred.

For more over ten years, Rex has been Anna’s devoted buddy and companion. At first, she thought the dog was just nervous, but she soon realized it was more.

Anna hesitated. Rex pressed himself against her legs. He didn’t snarl or bark; he simply gazed into her eyes.

“Come on, sweetheart,” she hoped Rex would say as he stood up. But the dog remained motionless. The whispers of the guests grew louder. Anna’s father was about to seize the leash.

Suddenly — a faint, almost inaudible rumble. It was strange. It was unlike anything Rex had ever done.

“What’s wrong, my dear?” Anna asked as she sat next to him, put her hands to his face, and looked into his eyes.

Only then did she notice his trembling paws and his labored respiration. She felt like her heart was being squeezed. The only person she saw was Rex.

Guests grumbled, trying to understand what was happening. But all Anna could hear was her own heartbeat and Rex’s kind, longing stare.
“Rex,” she muttered again.

Then something happened that made the whole room tremble.

Anna hesitated. The guests exchanged bewildered glances. The groom also took up residence. Then she made it clear that we were going to the vet clinic. Right now.

The wedding had to be canceled right away. Leaving the white dress, the music, and the flowers behind, they piled Rex into the car with the groom and their parents and headed to the hospital.

The doctors diagnosed Rex with heart failure and said he had only a few days, maybe weeks, to live. Anna couldn’t hold back her tears.

I can’t enjoy the wedding because I know my Rex is leaving. “He’s my family,” she told the groom. Let’s put everything on wait, please. I must have him with me.

The groom immediately agreed and embraced her tightly.
Of sure, he is more important. We’ll do it later. The most important thing is to be with the ones we love.

After a few hours, the clergyman, the groom’s parents, and Anna’s parents suddenly came inside the veterinary clinic. They brought rings and flowers.

We thought, — Anna’s father said, — because everyone you care about has to be there, why not have the wedding here? Let Rex be by your side now.

Thus, the most genuine and genuine ceremony took place right in the clinic. Rex slept sweetly between them, feeling the love that surrounded him. The groom wore a shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and Anna wore a simple white robe.
