A 60-year-old mechanic from Wolverhampton astounded the judges and took home the golden buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent.
Simon Cowell told drunkard Donchez Dacres that people like him “are the reason we make this show” after he was selected for the live performances. Judge David Walliams, Cowell’s colleague, rang the buzzer for Donchez, who was born and raised in Jamaica but now resides in Wolverhampton, after he had gotten the crowd going with his own song, Wiggle Wine.

The roadside mechanic even got the judges moving, as Walliams tripped over Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden performed their routines before joining Dacres on stage to dance to the music with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.
Cowell informed him, “People like you are the reason we produce this show; you make it entertaining.”I really do like you. Walliams went on, “I’ve wiggled and whined my body, but I’ve never done both at the same time.”Bright sunshine is what you are.
Cowell turned to the audience and said, “You might have just seen the winner of Britain’s Got Talent.”
The D-Day Darlings, a female choir with a military theme, are hoping to join him after receiving four yeses from the judges for their performance of Vera Lynn’s We’ll Meet Again, sung in front of a montage of images of their grandparents and great-grandparents who participated in World Wars.
Simon Cowell was the only judge who did not accompany Donchez on stage.
Walliams told the women, “It’s a beautiful way of keeping their memories alive, as well as those of all the incredible men and women who served in WWII.”
Holden went on to say that the performance was “perfect for the royal family and the royal variety,” adding, “My own grandmother is 97 and fought in the war alongside my grandfather, and obviously that is who I was thinking about.”
“We as a generation must defend them; we must honor their courage, determination, and selflessness.”
