It seems that Denise Richards is not as “cool” a parent as some might have thought. She has made it clear that even though she allows her children to be independent, she has some standards for them.
Her daughter’s choice to become an adult entertainer on OnlyFans drew harsh criticism from the public. However, it seems like Denise is now elucidating how that works.

On her eighteenth birthday, Sami Sheen, the daughter of Denise Richard and her ex-husband Charlie Sheen, announced that she would be appearing on the adult entertainment website OnlyFans.
In June 2022, her mother also made her platform debut due to the 20-year-old’s apparent popularity on the platform.
Known for her roles on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Richards encouraged her teenage daughter’s choice of career at the time and still does.
“Sami, I will always be there for you and always have your back,” the actress wrote. After determining that working at a candy store would not help her achieve her goal, Sami Sheen reportedly joined OnlyFans to receive help purchasing an apartment.
“I chose to go to the next best thing and made an OnlyFans,” she disclosed at the time.
She has disclosed that in the two years she has been a member of OnlyFans, she has made many amazing friends and that the platform has opened up a lot of previously unachievable opportunities for her.
“It has been really fulfilling to be my own boss, set my own hours, and be able to do the things I’ve always wanted to do,” she added.
She went on to say that she gets inspiration from other creators on the network.
But praise is always followed by criticism, of course. When she joined the site, she was met with a lot of criticism, which infuriated her mother since it reminded her of the abuse she had experienced for being upfront about her sexuality. She said, “It bothered me that Sami was being criticized for being a woman, accepting her own sexuality, and doing what she wanted.”
In an effort to help her daughter, she also joined OnlyFans, which Sami referred to as a “great move.”
“I always just tell her I wish she waited a little bit because she started it right after I did,” Sami Sheen disclosed in reference to her mother’s decision to sign up for the site. “But yeah, it doesn’t bother me at all,” she said.
A strict regulation is also enforced between the mother and daughter. On the platform, they are not allowed to see each other’s posts.
If they looked at each other’s pages, Sami said, “No, that would be weird.”
Echoing the same sentiments, Denise Richards remarked, “Yes, we draw a line there.” Sami’s younger sister, whom Denise Richards also shares with Charlie Sheen, shared her feelings on her mother’s OnlyFans website by stating, “Whatever makes her happy.”
Promoting Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, her new reality show on Brave, was the aim of this conversation. The launch of the show is scheduled for early next month.
The show will focus on Richards’ relationship with her husband Aaron Phyphers, as well as her youngest daughter Eloise Richards and her children Sami and Lola.
The show will just show the family “trying to be themselves,” Richards said, because that is what she always wants to depict.
