The Collins Kids is a popular Instagram account that features a family of nine siblings. It’s no secret that Shaq is friends with the family and frequently visits them to spend time with them.
Karissa, a young mother of nine children, is in charge of the Instagram account, which has around 350k followers. Shaq has been interacting with the family via the Instagram account. At the beginning of this year, he even paid the young family a visit.4.
On his first visit, he spent time with the children and showered them with care. In a later post on the visit, Karissa said, “He came in and played ‘Watch ya mouth’ with the kids, loved on them, encouraged them, entertained them, took pictures with them, gave them gifts, encouraged us as parents, and just showed us so much love.”
The famous athlete had other ideas, but the family thought this amusing interaction was enough. A few months after their initial meeting, he got in touch with the family again and surprised them with dinner. “Shaq surprised us last night with a visit. He had dinner at Babe’s Chicken with the entire family. It was so much fun just to sit out and eat supper with him.
Once more, this seemed to suit the family, but the NBA player had other ideas. The next day, he brought the family to the Mercedes dealership and ordered a specially designed 15-passenger van, which would be delivered to them in mid-July.
The family was amazed by the hero’s generosity, and the kids were thrilled and couldn’t stop hugging him.
Shaq went above and beyond! Once again, the NBA legend sat down to supper with the family. He made everyone pleased at the supper, they said.
After that, he took us to Rainforest Café, where he paid for another table’s entire lunch without noticing that they were on missions and from out of state. He left our waitress a $1,000 tip after her car broke down today,” Karissa said.
During their second dinner together, Shaq learned that the father of nine was having issues with his truck. The air conditioning and heating systems had been broken for a while.
Shaq immediately knew what he wanted to do. He took the family to the Ford dealership and purchased a new truck for the father!
