Fans of Virgin River have been captivated by the complex character of Dan Brady, but what do we know about Benjamin Hollingsworth, who portrays him?
Fans watch as Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) finally get married and live their happily ever after in the latest episodes of season six.
However, after he broke up with Brie Sheridan (Zibby Allen) after she learned of his drug trafficking activities, Brady’s (Benjamin Hollingsworth) love life remains tumultuous.
Despite her recent relationship with police officer Mike (Marco Grazzini), many fans are still expecting that she and Brady would get back together in the latest outing.
Initial Difficulties
Born in Ontario in 1984, Hollingsworth has always aspired to be an actress. He enrolled in and completed his studies at the National Theatre School of Canada in 2006 in order to achieve this goal.
He quickly began getting roles, and the apex of his career was his first major motion picture, The Joneses, in which he costarred alongside Demi Moore and David Duchovny.
He was producing The Beautiful Life, Ashton Kutcher’s upcoming show on The CW. However, the series was terminated after only two episodes were shown.
While filming a scene from episode seven, Hollingsworth wrote on Instagram that they were informed, “Midday we had 30 minutes to clear out of our dressing rooms.”
Alongside a selfie he posted the morning he learned his show was cancelled, he wrote, “Young, dumb, and now broke, I moved back to LA with my tail between my legs.”
“Couch surfing with my little dog, Stella.” I wasted a year of my life concentrating on myself, ruining my opportunities, and chasing not fame but fame.
Still not giving up, the 40-year-old actor remarked, “BUT, this wasn’t the worst morning of my life.”
Looking back, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever experienced. I learned something that theater school does not teach. Don’t take anything for granted because nothing is promised or owed to you. Resilience must be acquired; it is not inherited.
Famous ex-girlfriend
The Virgin River star was close to The Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev.
After sharing a room in the past, the two celebrities began dating in 2006 and stayed together for three years. Despite the fact that their romance ended, Hollingsworth’s comments in a 2021 Pop Culturalist interview suggest a friendly split.
“My good friend Nina Dobrev was on another CW show at the time, The Vampire Diaries,” he remarked. That went on for eight or nine seasons.

Family life
In 2010, the Brady actor fell in love with Nila Myers, a Bar Method instructor and lingerie designer. They were engaged two years later and were married two months after the proposal.
Since then, they have had three children: two sons, Hemingway Nash and Gatsby Willem, and a daughter, Juniper Bloom.
In a 2020 interview with iHeartRadio, Hollingsworth praised his wife’s qualities, saying, “She’s amazing.” Despite having three kids, she is still a hero. She is truly a gift to me.
