As kids, a lot of us watched the television show Bewitched. We would still like it years later, even though we would have seen it when it first came out if we had been old enough.
This popular sitcom from the 1960s featured the lives of a mortal, a witch, and a married couple. Seeing Tabitha Stevens, the little child star, in the ensemble was very entertaining.
Few people were interested in Tabitha’s life after the program when she made a comeback at the age of sixty. Whether or not she appears on television, her current circumstances and experiences have made her a celebrity. Throughout the 1960s, television presented us with a diverse array of characters. These shows, such as Bewitched, featured humorous content that was appropriate for the time period with stunning spectacular effects.
The role of Elizabeth Montgomery and Agnes Morehead’s daughter was played by three-year-old Tabitha Stevens.
She had a twin sister, like many child stars, and the two first portrayed the same part. However, the role could only be performed by one lady.
Up until the show’s end in 1972, she would go on to appear in more than 100 episodes. She claimed to be one of Hollywood’s most famous child actors at the time.
She worked on the show and appeared alongside Ronald Reagan in a detergent commercial. At the time, Jodie Foster and Helen Hunt were both rising stars. She returned to her everyday life after spending eight years in Hollywood. She would only travel to Los Angeles if she was assured of employment, attend Girl Scout camp, and cheer.
“It wasn’t difficult for me,” she explained. I continued to play and even declined engagements. Moving away from that wasn’t too hard for me. I believe that a big part of this is because I left the company before it fired me.
In the end, she decided to go into a completely other field of work. In 1984, she married Terry Rogers, with whom she had a single child. She left Hollywood’s glamor and glitz behind when they relocated to Arizona.
After five years of marriage and the birth of two boys, they were divorced. At that time, she returned to California to raise her children.
Later on, she would remarry, this time to Eric Eden. Despite their 1998 divorce, she and the rock singer still have a child named Clark. She returned to California after that.
She married Darren Dunckel two months after they met in 1998. Together, they had three children, making her a mother of six.
“It’s really fun,” she remarked. It’s a busy and fascinating life. I’m frequently asked if I’m Mormon. I’ve always wanted a large family because I only had one sister and I grew up thinking “The Brady Bunch” was the best show. But with a boy and a girl, my family would have been ideal. I might have stopped at three or earlier if I had a girl, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
She has no regrets about staying away from Hollywood to raise her children since she enjoys being a mother. Although she admits that she gets screenplays all the time, she hasn’t yet discovered one that she wants to work on for twelve hours every day.
“I contacted autism charities prior to Parker’s birth, and following his diagnosis, it became my top priority,” she said. I volunteer and attend board meetings. I speak at a variety of events. Being reachable by other parents who might have inquiries is, in my opinion, essential.
She is thankful for the opportunity to give back because she has always enjoyed assisting.
Parker, my adorable kid, is one of the 68 children with autism. As yet, none of her children aspire to be as renowned as she is. If she chooses to perform in the future, we would be delighted to have her back, and we are thrilled that she has found her passion.
