Scarlett Johansson responds to her husband Colin Jost’s ‘vulgar’ NSFW joke about her on SNL

When you marry a comedian, you essentially agree to being the target of their jokes.

Scarlett Johansson found out the hard way when her husband, Colin Jost, mentioned it in a Saturday Night Live (SNL) sketch.

In 2020, Jost, a staff writer for Saturday Night Live for 20 years, wed Black Widow actress Scarlett Johansson.

He and fellow comic Michael Che gained the most notoriety for their “Weekend Update” program.

The two people make up their jokes because they are unaware of each other’s beforehand.

Che recently asked Johansson whether she would mind being named, and she said yes, but she didn’t know how far the jokes would go.

Johansson’s reactions to the allegations were recorded on camera when the show aired on December 21.

The celebrity was obviously shocked by her comment, which quickly went viral.

A joke regarding Johansson’s genitalia caught her off guard.

Jost stated, “The roast beef sandwich is no longer available at Costco,” referring to his son with Johansson. But I’m not tripping.I’ve been eating roast beef every night since my wife gave birth.

Although Johansson knew there would be a vaginal joke, neither she nor the audience were ready for it.

Johansson elaborated on her response during her appearance on TODAY With Jenna & Friends earlier this week.

A fantastic Saturday Night Live comedy that aired last month was brought up by host Jenna Bush Hager.

Johansson said, “It got so vulgar,” and Bush Hager stated that they were unable to broadcast much of the event because it was too risqué and inappropriate for daytime television.

The actor went on to explain that she warned the SNL staff, “I don’t want to be canceled or divorced,” after being made aware of the jokes and references. “My boundaries are those.”

When the jokes were told while she was being filmed, the Marriage Story star said, “Honestly, Jenna, I felt like it was like To Catch a Predator when the lights kind of came on me and suddenly there was a whole audience.”

“Fortunately,” she said, “the celebrity was holding a very strong drink at the moment.”

The remarks were deemed “not OK” by Emma Stone, who was also in the SNL studio at the time.

“My heart was thumping, my hands were shaking, and my eyes were watering.” “It was very surreal,” Johansson said of his experience.
