The desire for the perfect makeover moment became an amazing reality when Rachael Ray selected a lucky man from the audience for a glow-up that left him and his wife in tears.
On the Rachel Ray Show, Kyan Douglas, star of Queer Eye, gave one of the fans a shocking makeover.
The man had a beard that was a mess, long, untidy hair, and denim overalls that made him look like he had just stepped off the set of Duck Dynasty.
Despite his harsh exterior, the hardworking man had a great heart, and he admitted that he allowed his appearance get in the way.
“How far are you willing to go, my friend?” asked the man’s host, who was positioned on stage with stylist Douglas and his wife, Elena Lizares, CEO of Razzle Dazzle Barbershop.
“Are you willing to go naked up here?” Ray said, gesturing to his shaggy hair. “Is it your intention to retain a portion of your beard?”
The man answered without hesitation, “She married me with nothing on my face, I’m willing to go that far,” as the audience burst into “awe.” His willingness to go all the way was supported by the spectators.
The primary revelation
When he took the stage again for the big reveal of his transformation, he was completely transformed from tough and ready to stylish and sophisticated.
The man wore a gray sweater, black trousers, and a black leather jacket. He was clean-shaven and had short, neat hair.
As he was told to turn around and look at the big screen behind him that showed his picture, he rubbed his smooth face and then wiped away his tears.
At that moment, the camera swung across to his wife, who was watching the amazing scene from the audience.
After wiping away her tears, she hurried to the stage to welcome her handsome husband following his metamorphosis.
The man was still hugging his wife when Lizares said, “You got sexy back.”
“I’ve been razzle dazzled,” he said.
