Even if you don’t know much about tennis, you’ve undoubtedly heard of Anna Kournikova. The Russian tennis player has been well-known for a long time.
She would often be photographed, but she has stayed out of the spotlight lately. People are a little surprised that the tennis player seems to have finally shown up.

Former tennis player Anna Kournikova seems to have been hurt. The 43-year-old was spotted wearing an orthopaedic boot and using a wheelchair while out and about this weekend with family. She was spotted at the Bal Harbour Shops in Miami, Florida.
Photographs of Kournikova with her two daughters, Lucy and Mary, whom she shares with musician Enrique Iglesias, were obtained by The Post. Their daughter Lucy has twin brothers, Nicholas and Lucy.
Kournikova wore a black sweatshirt and matching pants, and her hair was styled in a bun. A woman wearing black-tinted sunglasses pushed her wheelchair. The Grand Slam doubles champion retired from tennis at age 21 due to injuries. It is uncertain how and when Kournikova was injured.
In 2001, Kournikova and Iglesias started dating after she appeared in the music video for the song “Escape.” Since they first began dating, the couple has kept their personal lives very private.
On May 8, 2022, the pair was last spotted in public at Mother’s Day and Iglesias’ birthday celebrations. She shared a picture of the family celebrating in the backyard.
While Kournikova has retreated into a more reclusive life after her early retirement, Iglesias is still performing and working as a singer. He was seen on a boat with Kournikova’s father, Sergei Kournikova, and his daughter, Mary, in Miami last July.
In an interview, Iglesias claimed that after meeting Anna Kournikova in the music video for his song “Escape,” the two of them almost “grew up” together.
“Even though she was from the sports industry, we kind of got each other when we met,” he said in an interview with People.She knew what was happening to me. I knew a little about her world. That understanding was therefore very helpful. We just gradually started to connect and eventually got stronger and stronger.
Kournikova retired as a tennis superstar in 2003, having won 16 doubles titles in her career.
She made it to the Wimbledon semifinals in 1997.
