Therefore, it should come as no surprise that many decide to change or reinvent themselves following a breakup or divorce. Actor Jason Momoa from Aquaman is among them.

Jason Momoa, who has enough money to live a luxurious lifestyle, underwent a dramatic lifestyle change following his contentious divorce from Lisa Bonet. He chose to live in a modest and unconventional home.
At one point, Momoa, 44, and Bonet, 56, were a well-liked Hollywood couple who were noted for keeping their romantic life quiet and secret. This aroused fans’ curiosity as they wanted to know everything about their romance.
Remarkably, Momoa acknowledged that he first saw Bonet on TV when she played Denise Huxtable in the comedy series The Cosby Show. The future actor allegedly turned to his mother, uttering, “Mommy, I want that one,” out of sheer love.
In 2005, their paths finally crossed at a jazz club thanks to mutual contacts, and Momoa fell in love right once. He recalls the incident vividly, saying, “I literally turned around and I see her, and she goes, ya know, ‘I’m Lisa,'” on The Late Late Show with James Corden. I turned to face my pal and exclaimed, “Ahhh!” I was inside, man, with fireworks going off.
This occasion launched their journey together, which ultimately resulted in the birth of their first child in 2007 and their second child in 2008, as well as their marriage in 2017.
But this dream came crumbling down five years later in January 2022, when the seemingly perfect couple announced their 16-year separation. Bonet filed for divorce in January 2024, two years after they split up. According to People, they will be legally single by July of this year.
Momoa and Bonet have discussed how their tastes differ, with Momoa favoring adventurous travel and Bonet favoring comfortable pursuits like writing, cooking, and reading. Nevertheless, they clarified that even after calling it quits on their romance, they still genuinely adore one another and are devoted to their kids.

The Game of Thrones star said goodbye to the house he formerly lived with his ex-wife after splitting from Bonet, opting to live in a camper instead.
Many have been taken aback by this unexpected change in lifestyle, but Momoa readily shares photos of his “van life” on social media and enjoys the minimalist design and environmentally friendly features of his new residence.
Momoa was periodically spotted living in his camper van after his divorce, which was parked next to the house he had previously occupied with Bonet and their kids. According to the Daily Mail, this $750,000 Ford RV became a prominent aspect of his life and was frequently used as a temporary residence when he was filming assignments away from home.
But Momoa has always preferred to lead a nomadic existence; this is not a recent trend. In reality, he embraced the nomad attitude when he was a little boy and embarked on an exciting trip around Ireland with a buddy.
More recently, he shared an Instagram photo of his eco-friendly living environment, which included plastic-free products, giving viewers a peek of his van life. In an even more ingenious move, Momoa parked the van close to a superstore to maximize convenience and rigged up a shower with a hanging shower head on the door.
Even though Jason Momoa has an unusual “van life,” it makes sense for someone who is so laid back and carefree.
