Too much alcohol consumption has no positive effects. The reality is that most people who drink tend to behave erratically and don’t recall doing the majority of the things they did when intoxicated.
In the story that follows, a married guy loses his memory of the previous night’s events because he was so inebriated.
Despite having a black eye when he woke up and anticipating conflict with his wife, the exact reverse occurred. Why? See it for yourself by reading the entire article.
After a night of partying with the guys, married man Jack wakes up with a severe headache.
He can’t even recall how he returned from the party.
He murmurs to himself, “Oh, damn,” and considers whether his actions the previous evening were improper.
A few aspirins and a glass of water are the first things Jack notices when he opens his eyes after having to force himself to do so.
When Jack sits up, he notices that his clothes are neatly pressed in front of him.
He takes the aspirins, then cringes when he looks in the bathroom mirror and sees a massive black eye glaring back at him.
Then he sees a message that reads, “Dear husband, last night you came home drunk and made a huge racket,” scribbled in red and hanging from the corner of the mirror with little hearts and a lipstick kiss from his wife. But don’t be alarmed! The stove is heating up breakfast. To prepare your favorite dinner today, I departed early to go grocery shopping. Darling, I adore you!
Love, Jillian”
Sure enough, a delicious meal, a cup of steaming coffee, and the morning newspaper are all waiting for him when he stumbles into the kitchen. He is eating at the table with his son.
Son?” Jack asks. How did yesterday night go?
The reality is made clear
You arrived home after three in the morning, inebriated and confused. You damaged the coffee table when you tripped over it, and when you ran into the door, you got that black eye. You also threw up in the hallway.
He queries his kid, perplexed, “So, why is your mother in such a good mood, and why is there breakfast on the table waiting for me?”
“Oh THAT!” his son responds. You cried, “Leave me alone, I’m married!” when Mom dragged you into the bedroom and attempted to undress you. I got hitched.
Jack started sobbing from his relief.
