The judges were correct – he is truly incredible. Matt Dodd, 68, delivers a spectacular performance… 🎥VIDEO

The judges were right about him being incredibly adept. Matt Dodd, a 68-year-old grandpa from Dublin, has been singing since he was eight years old. Although the bus driver had an incredible ability to screech notes, most of the time senior passengers on his route could hear him sing. He said, “I sang for them on the bus; I sang for them in the center,” in an interview with the Irish Mirror.

Every week there is Mass, and I will sing and do things like that. As a singer, Sr. has always enjoyed watching talent shows on television. He even advanced to the third round of X-Factor Ireland. The Voice of Ireland audition, though, was something he “didn’t even walk in the door” for.

One evening, Matt’s grandchildren approached him as he was watching Ireland’s Got Talent. “It all started back in November,” he affirmed. While they all got a half-day off, one of the grandsons asked his grandfather, “Grandpa, could you go in there?” “I sent over the video of me singing in the house, and that’s when it all started,” she recalled.
